About the artist
Vrushali Date is a California-based painter who translates the world’s vibrant landscapes into soulful acrylic and gouache compositions. A software engineer by profession with a Master’s in Computer Science, Vrushali finds her balance in the tactile world of fine art.
Her work is an invitation to experience “Happiness”—a theme she meticulously weaves into every landscape and portrait. Whether capturing a rugged California coastline or a delicate floral scene, her goal is to spark a nostalgic, joyful connection with her audience.
Since 2020, she has been a mainstay in the Bay Area art scene, exhibiting from the Gilroy Contemporary 101 Studio to the Cherry Blossom Festival. Her talent for capturing local beauty is exemplified by her recent sale of “A Gift of Blossoms” to the City of Cupertino’s public collection.
